Microsoft’s Office 365 service does not provide Lync Voice services and is not expected to provide PBX replacement services for the foreseeable future. But, Microsoft does provide an Office 365 subscription plan (E4) to allow customers to deploy Lync Voice and enjoy an integrated Unified Communications solution and PBX replacement with the rest of their Office 365 applications.  Further, customers have the option of deploying and managing this solution themselves or work with a partner to assist them.

Hosted Lync Voice PBX services are deployed on-demand, using US and International Datacenters.  These services are available in both multi-tenant and dedicated infrastructures that are delivered in a standardized/commoditized fashion for small and medium sized businesses and can be tailored to meet the requirements of large enterprises at a cost model many IT organizations or traditional Systems Integrators are challenged to improve upon.
